Limousine service: Half day tour 3 hrs. departure from Florence and return to Florence. Your driver will pick you up at your hotel or apartment in Florence and he’ll drive you to piazzale Michelangolo, from where you can have the best view of Florence. After that he’ll drive you to the historical city center. The first stop will be the Basilica of Santa Croce(Holy Cross), the largest Franciscan church in the world. Today the former dormitory of the Franciscan Friars houses the Scuola del Cuoio (Leather School). Visitors can watch as artisans craft purses, wallets, and other leather goods which are sold in the adjacent shop. We’ll then proceed to the Cathedral Square with the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, the belltower, and the baptistery with it’s its golden gate. Piazza della Signoria will be a short ride from the Church. Here you’ll find Palazzo della Signoria, also known as Palazzo Vecchio, situated on a corner of the Piazza itself. We'll then reach the Ponte Vecchio, one of the most famous bridges in the world and the most ancient in Florence. Your driver will also take you to Filippo Brunelleschi's Palazzo Pitti. It is the largest and most monumental of the palaces in Florence.
